We want VibeWorld to be usable by as many people as possible. On our site pages we aim for Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. We haven't fully reached that level yet; this page honestly describes what works today and what is still missing.
What's available today
Keyboard navigation: links and buttons on the home, vibe detail and information pages can be reached with the Tab key; vibe cards show a clear focus indicator.
Accessible labels: most icon buttons have descriptive labels (aria-label) that screen readers can announce.
Readability: we take care to use readable contrast for text and cards on dark backgrounds.
Reduced motion: if "reduce motion" is turned on in your operating system, some interface animations (e.g. the bottom menu, the Memory Book and some in-world notifications) are simplified and smooth scrolling is turned off. This doesn't cover the whole site yet.
Two languages: the site is available in Turkish and English.
Controls in the 3D worlds
On a computer (keyboard + mouse):
W, A, S, D: move
Mouse: look around (clicking the screen locks the pointer; press Esc to release it)
Shift: run, Space: jump, Ctrl: crouch
E: interact (doors, books, sitting and more)
On phones and tablets:
Move with the virtual joystick in the bottom-left corner
Drag your finger on the screen to look around; optional gyroscope look on supported devices
On-screen buttons to jump, run and interact
Known limitations
The 3D worlds are highly visual and are not usable with screen readers yet.
Looking around in a world requires a mouse or touchscreen; it can't be done with the keyboard alone.
Moving with the arrow keys and remapping controls are not supported yet.
Camera movement, fog and lighting effects in some worlds may be uncomfortable for people sensitive to motion.
Background music and ambient sounds have no captions.
