Cookies are small text files that websites save in your browser. Similarly, localStorage and sessionStorage let a site keep data in your browser, but that data is not sent to the server with every request. VibeWorld uses both. Below you'll find what each one is for.
vw-locale (our own cookie, 1 year): remembers the language you chose (Turkish/English)._ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics 4): set by Google to count visits in aggregate and understand which pages are used. Their lifetime depends on Google's own settings. In addition, our own anonymous telemetry uses browser storage rather than cookies: a random visitor ID in localStorage (vw_visitor_id) and a session ID in sessionStorage (vw_session_id) that is cleared when you close the tab.
Some worlds play background music through an embedded YouTube player. When that player loads, YouTube/Google may set their own cookies, which are governed by Google's policies.
Since there is no account system, your progress and settings are stored in localStorage:
This data is not sent to our server and stays on your device only.
You can block cookies or delete all of this site's data (including cookies and local storage) in your browser settings. Doing so also permanently removes your saved progress, Memory Book and preferences. To block Google Analytics, you can also use Google's official opt-out browser add-on.
